A touch of Love

 A Poem of Love

Fight starts.

Closed doors.

Avoiding, hiding, creating walls,
Running away from the noise.

My heart is closed.

Afraid, ashamed, humiliated, guilty, insecure.

Looking for connection.

Traveling, looking outside, meeting new people.

Why is it the same feeling?

Wherever I go, I feel the same.

The heart is closed.

How can I open my heart?

Listening.

Uncomfortable, cringing, ashamed, defensive,
Closed ears.

Catch and release.

Curious, unserious, haughty, stubborn.

Who can I listen to?

A lot of noise. Noise.

Is my heart really open?

Are my words closed?

Is this what I want?

Literally?

People pass by with good intentions,

But my heart is closed.

An argument arises with a familiar friend.

Who is this friend?

Oh, ignorance.

Heart, be open to listen.

Don't resist.

Don't walk away.

Hold still.

Listen.

Then the heart opens.

Crying, grieving, desperately crying for love.

Are all things one?

Acceptance whispers, “It’s okay, my dear.”

“I love you.”

“We’ve got you.”

“You are heard. Don’t be scared.”

“We care for you, and the door is always open to feel safe, to feel home.”

Embrace and hug the love within.

Fear walks away.

Love enters, bleeding.

With support and care,

Love heals love, despite distorted messages.

Now, joy, ease, and peace hug the inner child.

It is now safe for you to love.

So, give more love.

The doors are open and ready to receive and serve love.

Love freely in this world of egos.

Love is powerful.

Love heals.

This is the miracle I have been dreaming of.

Now, I rest in peace with love.

I love you.

Heart

Love touches us to become Open.
